BGT duo Jonathan and Charlotte sign a deal with Cowell’s label

Opera singing duo Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli have revealed that they have signed a £1 million contract with Simon Cowell’s Syco label and are hoping to produce an album within three months.
Simon has booked them into back to back studio sessions and last night announced their album will be out on September 3rd.
It’s been even faster turnaround than Susan Boyle who album “I Dreamed a Dream” which was released just 6 months after she was named runner up in series three.
A Source told The Sun “Simon knows that to make money from them he needs to move fast. Get the first album out as soon as possible before people have moved on. September is also a good time as The X Factor will be in its live stages so there is a chance to get them on the show and plug the album.”
The album is hoped to features covers and some new songs including The Prayer which the duo sang at their first audition for the show.
Simon said: ‘This show is designed to give people like Jonathan and Charlotte an opportunity. Their debut album is going to be stunning.”
Jonathan said: “I’m still pinching myself that we are actually making our own CD.”
Charlotte said: “This is a dream come true for us.”
