X Factor 2012: Homeless man wows X Factor Panel

The X Factor 2012 panel got quite a surprise at yesterdays auditions in London’s O2 Arena as 26 year old Robbie who has been sleeping rough on and off for about 6 years took the stage.
The nervous hopeful said that he had grown up in a care home and dropped out of school due to him being desperate for something to stop him feeling lost.
A source at the London audition said: “This guy turned up and he did look a bit scruffier than your average X Factor wannabe.”
“He was wearing a battered old hat and looked pretty sorry for himself.”
“His story really touched the judges as it was obvious how much it meant to him to be there on the stage.”
“He did a great version of Last Request. It was a very special moment.”
The source also said that “Gary said he hoped this performance would change his life.”
Meanwhile yesterday’s auditions did come to a holt as a man who auditioned last year jumped on stage in the break between acts and wouldn’t leave the stage.
The man named only as Robert apparently pleaded with judges to let him sing after not getting through in Cardiff auditions last year.
An insider revealed to The Sun: “He got on stage in a break between acts and refused to go. He said he auditioned in Cardiff last year and was told to come back this year.”
“But this year he didn’t get through the first stages so he just showed up in the audience then got on the stage.”
“He said he was here because he wanted a chance and wanted to make everyone proud.”
“But Tulisa just laid into him. She went, ‘There are people waiting back stage who have been queuing here for hours. It’s not fair on them’.”
The X Factor returns to ITV1 and ITV 2 in early autumn and the Auditions continue this week.
