Channel 5 is to broadcast coverage of the World’s Strongest Man competition for the second year in a row.
The Richard Desmond-owned broadcaster has commissioned IMG Media to produce the coverage, which will get underway on 24 September in LA.
Former Football Italia host James Richardson will again present the event for Channel 5.
Last year’s series averaged about 1.2 million across 10 episodes (1.8M on the final).
“The programme has been a staple of the prime-time schedules for many years now and we look forward to building on the success of last year’s series,” said Lisa Comber, IMG’s event producer told Broadcast NOW.
