Big Brother’s Luke Anderson’s parents share their pride for their son

BB housemate Luke Anderson’s parents have spoken about their pride for their son’s decision to go on Big Brother and speak about begin transgender.
The 31 years old has spoken to almost all of his fellow housemates bar three about his journey switching from female to male gender.
Speaking to the Daily Star “I had lost a daughter – and a gorgeous-looking girl at that. But I had also gained another son and we both knew at last he was happy,” said Bill. [Father]
“When you are a parent anything your child does, you love them unconditionally. You want the best for them and you carry that through.”
His mother Christine said: “From a very early age I had my suspicions – a mother’s instinct if you like. She was never a lesbian. She was a boy in a girl’s body.”
“I cannot tell you how much we support him, how much we love him and how proud we are of him.”
Luke is the second transgender contestant to appear on the reality tv show after Nadia Almada who won the 5th series on Channel 4 and was born male.
Big Brother continues tonight at 10pm where Lydia, Victoria or Conor will leave the house and one of Jamie East’s wildcard housemate Rebecca, Anthony or Bhavesh will enter the house.
