X Factor 2012 bootcamp to be set outside of London!

The X Factor 2012 bootcamp will be held outside of London for the first time in the show’s history due to the London 2012 Olympics.

Show’s bosses have reportedly found it near impossible to find anywhere to stage the show in August as a result of London 2012.

Speaking to the Daily Star bosses have hinted that a replacement city would either be Birmingham or Manchester.

The Olympics has posed a huge problem for us this year,” a source told the newspaper. “London has always been the choice venue for boot camp.

“But now we are having to re-think it, and fast.”

32 contestants are set to be at bootcamp from the 200 which successfully got through to the next rounds at auditions last month.

X Factor 2012 airs on ITV 1 and ITV 2 this Summer.
