X Factor 2012 judge Gary Barlow receives Music Trust award
X Factor 2011 and 2012 judge Gary Barlow is set to receive the Music Industry Trust Award for his contribution to music over the past two decades.
Chairman of the award committee David Munns said: “He is one of the UK’s most accomplished artists – a unique musician, songwriter and producer who embodies both success and distinction, and who serves as a dedicated ambassador for many charities.”
“I can’t think of another artist who works with both Simon Cowell and Her Majesty The Queen.”
Gary is set to collect his award at the MIT dinner on November 5th in London.
Meanwhile Gary Barlow is set to team up with Superstar’s Andrew Lloyd-Webber for several new Take That songs. Andrew revealed in a latest press conference that they are planning to continue to write together on holiday in Spain this summer. This comes after the pair teamed up for the Diamond Jubilee single ‘Sing’ last month.
