Simon Cowell confirmed as judge in Britain’s Got Talent 2012

ITV have confirmed this afternoon that Simon Cowell will be returning to Britain’s Got Talent next year (2012).

At the ITV press conference in London today, ITV boss Adam Crozier told reporters that the music mogul would be rejoining the judging panel in Spring next year following the departure of Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff from the show.

In current reports Cowell has been said to fly back to save the show after ITV game show Red OR Black wasn’t a huge success as predicted and this year’s series of X Factor has been hit with dropping ratings and popularity.

ITV Boss Adam Crozier also revealed that Simon will be on the judging panels for only the live shows however it is still not clear if he will be for the audition process. However it has still not been ruled out of a possible return for the music guru as a judge on XFactor next year. he added “X Factor is still the most watched television show when you combine the Saturday and Sunday viewing figures.”
